Thanks to the dedication of local fishermen and conservation efforts, the fish populations have made an incredible recovery. The reefs, once overfished, are now teeming with life—offering one of the most vibrant and healthy ecosystems in the world Home to the only hard coral reef in the Gulf of California, it’s one of the largest and most diverse reefs in North America, providing a safe haven for over 800 species of marine life in the Sea of Cortez. Here you can see aggregations of tropical fish, different species of rays and a staggering 14 species of sharks, with one of them being the majestic Bull Shark. No. This is a protected natural environment, and sightings are never guaranteed. Each dive is unique.

Will I get seasick?
Boat conditions are usually calm within the bay, but if you’re prone to seasickness, we recommend taking medication beforehand.
